Foscoe
Philharmonic, an unusual name for a memorable duo.
The musical experience will be one that you will remember as
well. The group is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and have
been performing Concerts, Corporate Events, and Special Events
for over twenty-two years. We create the experience that will
make any occasions special. Our repertoire includes everything
from Motown to Mozart. Together, we can tailor your special
occasion with suggestions for the most fitting music for every
aspect of your memorable event, and upon request, we will arrange
a "special musical selection". Oh, and did we mention
that we STROLL........ |

The
Foscoe Philharmonic consists of Greg Logan and Ray Green,
violin and viola respectively. Both attended Appalacian State University,
where Mr. Logan was the concert master and is now an Orchestra Director
in the Raleigh Public School System. Mr. Green was a Performance
Major and principal violist with the Appalacian Orchestra. Mr. Green
is a freelance musician and helped start Foscoe Phil Recordings.

Experience:
Greg and Ray have performed as sectional players with the Hickory,
Salisbury, Asheville, Wilkesboro, Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington
and Fayetteville Symphony Orchestras in North Carolina as well
as the Florence, Myrtle Beach, Long Bay and Charleston Symphony
Orchestras in South Carolina. Some of our other events include
the following: United Negro College Fund annual fund raiser,
Cystic Fibrosis Public Service Awards, Governors Congress at
Pinehurst, NC, in which the Vice President attended, wedding
for a Hollywood movie producer at Emerald Island, opening for
Yanni at Walnut Creek Amphitheater side stage, The Annual Christmas
Party for the NC Bar Association, and twice monthly at the Irregardless
Cafe in Raleigh, NC. |
